It's time for the Minister of Agriculture to leave his post

Beksultan Sandibekov, a well-known entrepreneur and representative of the movement of young farmers of Kazakhstan, expressed this idea in his social networks, World of NAN reports.

The main complaint of the farmer from Kostanai region is the plague of locusts. He fears that the farm's yields will decrease. Beksultan is also puzzled by the official data of the Ministry of Agriculture regarding the area of pest damage. Before that, the young farmer personally visited the farms of Sergei Koshkodan and Talgat Kasenov, where the damage from locusts was completely different.

"Karashukeyev stated that farmers Koshkodan and Talgat Kasenov were hiding from him. I believe that this is not a question of the capability of the head of the department, but a question of the human component, because he is lying outright. And here I, as a young farmer, have a question about his presence in this place. I made a poll in a survey among farmers and 92% voted in favor of Karashukeyev's resignation from the post of Minister," Beksultan Sandibekov said in his social networks.

This poll reflects the true attitude of farmers toward the activities of Agriculture Minister Yerbol Karashukeyev. In just two years of his work, the official has lost the trust of farmers.

"How can we work in such conditions, when an entire department is headed by a person who is generally incompetent. If you look at his career, I do not see any connection with agriculture. Accordingly, the man does not know what he is talking about and probably cannot distinguish between wheat and barley," the young farmer summarized.
