Ministry of Agriculture: akimats are delaying the issuance of subsidies 

80,488 applications for subsidies filed by Kazakh farmers to date. Of these, 22,315 applications for 62.8 billion tenge have been approved and are on a "waiting list". These applications are fully processed by USISS and paid by the Departments of Agriculture through the treasury system, the World of NAN reports citing the Ministry of Agriculture.

To date, 49.6 billion tenge has been paid in subsidies. This amount could be much more if individual regions were active in reviewing, approving and paying incoming applications.

In particular, the anti-leader on payments of subsidies is Kostanai region. Since February there are more than 7 thousand applications under consideration of Department of Agriculture of the region, and only 2 695 applications for 8,7 billion tenge were approved, of which only 5,7 billion tenge were paid.

"USISS works properly, without problems. This indicates that the DoA themselves do not organize work properly. In the akimat of Kostanai region this fact is explained by lack of staff", - stressed the Ministry of Agriculture.

In order to speed up the process of applications, back in May the Ministry of Agriculture sent a letter to the akimat of the region about the need to attract additional staff to this work. On which the akimat responded on the solution of this issue as soon as possible. However, the work is still not established.
