Dairy products from Russia are counterfeited

Such a strong statement was made by Talgat Baimurinov, chairman of the Council for the development of agro-industrial complex under the regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs Atameken, a deputy of the maslikhat of Abay region and a member of the commission on the development of agro-industrial complex and ecology, reports World of NAN with reference to the Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

"More than 70% of dairy products from Russia are counterfeited. There is practically nothing left of milk, all the way down to lime is added. We consume all this, what kind of children will we have after this? What future awaits us?", - asks the deputy.

In his opinion, food security should be at the top of the agenda. It is necessary to finance domestic enterprises which have experience and have already proved themselves with 2-5 billion.

" In a couple of years they will give you such a result! They will return the money after the allotted period of time, and we will get a powerful manufacturer. Fund 10-15 such projects and in two or three years the milk issue will be closed, and we will even enter the export market. This is the approach we need. And without the fuss, connections and some dead projects to drag it out, cut it up and split it up," Talgat Baimurinov said.

He also believes that civil servants need to change their approach to their work, to focus on solving problems rather than on the fulfillment of tasks that are not important for the outcome.

"Most civil servants work by inertia. There is a task - they fulfill it within the framework of the report from eight to five. Recently there was an investment forum, the vice-minister came, I also voiced the problems of agriculture there and I was asked to stay after the event so that I could write a detailed appeal and they could "send a request and get an answer". The very wording speaks for itself. The approach is bureaucratic. The entrepreneur's brain is sharpened to solve the problem, but not to write a letter, to report, to write off, to be absolved and that's it", - finished the Maslikhat deputy.
