In most regions of Kazakhstan, the process of fodder harvesting is within the norm, except for some areas where there is an abnormal heat and lack of rain, reports the World of NAN with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture.
According to the latest data, about 969,000 tons of hay have been harvested, which is 67.1% of the planned volume. Harvesting of hay, which is one of the main in the diet of farm animals, amounted to 15.8 million tons, or 63.3% of the plan.
Problems with fodder procurement are observed in Pavlodar region (the plan is fulfilled by 11%), Mangistau region (24.6%), Atyrau region (32.2%), Abay region (36.5%), East Kazakhstan region (39.8%) and West Kazakhstan region (41.5%).
Therefore, Akimats were instructed to allocate additional funds to subsidize fodder harvesting. In particular, to the previously approved amount of subsidies of 11.7 billion tenge, the issue of additional allocation of 9.1 billion tenge is being considered.
Financing of subjects of agro-industrial complex through JSC "Kazagrofinance" for the purchase of forage harvesting equipment for further leasing has started. For these purposes 20 billion tenge has been allocated from the national budget.
The National Management Holding "Baiterek" JSC is working on the issue of extension and restructuring of debts on loans of agricultural producers in the regions affected by drought.
