It will be easier for beginner farmers to obtain land

The competition for agricultural land for aspiring farmers will be held separately. The fact is that they cannot compete with the existing farms, reports World of NAN.

The corresponding draft order of the Ministry of Agriculture is undergoing a stage of public discussion on the website of the open government (Open LAs).

According to the amendments, auctions will be held separately for first-time entrepreneurs and existing farms.

First-time entrepreneurs are persons registered as unemployed, or payers of the unified aggregate payment, or individual entrepreneurs, whose period of state registration as individual entrepreneurs is less than three years.

First-time entrepreneurs will be able to receive up to 300 hectares of land, provided, however, that they have not been granted plots of land for agriculture before.

The state, by dividing the competition into two categories, is trying to ensure equal access to obtaining agricultural land.
