Non-commodity exports rose to $15.9 billion

Kazakh producers signed 62 contracts for $280 million, Minister of Trade and Integration Bakhyt Sultanov wrote on his Facebook page, World of NAN reports.

These contracts were concluded with the help of service support of exporters. This year it was possible to increase the number of participants of the Trade and Economic Mission, the number and volume of export contracts.

"Most of the contracts were concluded for the sale of food products: salt, flour, meat and by-products, pasta, canned goods, honey, vegetable oil, milk powder. There are also contracts on mechanical engineering, metallurgy, IT-services. There is 329.6 tenge of commodity producers' income for 1 tenge of direct costs for the service support of exporters," wrote the Head of the Ministry of Trade.

According to the 10-month report, the volume of exports of non-resource goods this year is $15.9 billion, which is more than last year's non-resource exports. Bakhyt Sultanov believes that Kazakhstan will reach 25 billion dollars of non-resource exports.
