The new Interagency Group will promote competition in the agro-industrial complex

Kazakhstan created an interdepartmental methodological group to promote competition in the agricultural sector, World of NAN reports referring to the press service of the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The methodological group was created by a joint order of two agencies - the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Agency for Protection and Development of Competition.

The main activities of the Interagency Methodological Group is development and introduction of amendments to the regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on subsidizing, access to the land resources, markets for livestock, crop production, and socially important food products.

According to the press-service, the package of amendments worked out by the methodological group will be submitted for consideration by February 15th of this year. It is expected that the meetings of the Interdepartmental methodological group will be held on a weekly basis.
