A new oil plant is being built in the East-Kazakhstan region

Domestic company ALTAI MAI started the construction of a 12.7 billion tenge multi-crop oil extraction plant in Ust-Kamenogorsk, reports World of NAN, referring to Kazakhinvest.

The enterprise, located on an area of almost 10 hectares, will produce up to 75,000 tons of vegetable oil and 64,000 tons of meal per year.

The project, implemented with the support of NC Kazakh invest, provides for high automation of the vegetable oil production process. Automation system will control all chain of technological process starting from raw material reception, production process and finishing with shipment of finished product. The software for each equipment will be integrated into one global program, and automatically determine and adjust the most effective production technology.

The company is confident in the uninterrupted supply of raw materials and in the technical capabilities of the plant. The enterprise is capable of processing over 500 tons of sunflower seeds or 400 tons of rapeseed per day.

The sunflower and rapeseeds used as raw materials for processing will come to the plant from Borodulikhinskiy, Shemonaikhinskiy, Glubokovskiy, Zyryanovskiy, Samarskiy and Ulanskiy districts of the region, which are close to Ust-Kamenogorsk.

The region is confident that the oil extraction plant products will positively solve the issue of import substitution in the future, as well as contribute to the development of exports to China, Uzbekistan and other countries.
