A new meat processing plant will be built in Semey in 2025

The enterprise will supply products for export and domestic market. The investor is the company "Eurasia AgroHolding", which has already received the land, reports World of NAN.

According to the NCE Atameken, the plant will be located in the village of Chekoman of Abay region. It will be financed with 30% of its own funds and the rest with a loan from RBK Bank.

The cost of the project is about 9 billion tenge. Thanks to its implementation, 250 work places will be created at the early stage of work. This large project allows, in addition to exports, to provide meat to the domestic market.

"The new meat processing plant will carry out the entire production process - from slaughtering to product export. The meat-packing plant with the cattle slaughter line of 200 heads per shift and the small cattle slaughter line of 1400 heads per shift also includes a sausage plant with a capacity of 5 tons per shift and a canning plant with a capacity of 12 tons per shift. There will be also realized additional 4 projects financed by the state on meat-packing plant: construction of boiler-house, purification plants, power lines and water line", - noted Maksat Kikimov, first deputy chairman of the board of "Atameken".

At the moment engineering and geodetic surveys, works on complex examination of technical condition of water intake system, hydro-geological survey of water intake have been conducted. Completion of examination is planned by the middle of June, and full launch of the plant by 2025.
