QazTrade has launched a new reception of applications for reimbursement of exporters' costs

Acceptance of applications from domestic export-oriented companies for reimbursement of part of the costs will start from April 21, 2023. Reception of applications will last until 5 p.m. July 21 of this year, World of NAN reports referring to QazTrade.

This year, taking into account the numerous requests of exporting companies, the center for the development of trade policy increased the period for applications from one to three months.

"The Ministry of Trade and Integration, together with QazTrade, worked on the automation of applications. The changes are aimed at speeding up the processing of documents, transparency of expertise. To test the new system involved representatives of business. We tried to make the process as tailored as possible to the recipients of state support", - stressed Kairat Torebayev, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Expenses to be reimbursed include exporters' expenses for product promotion, maintenance of branches, sales area, warehouse and trade shelves abroad. Also for the registration of trademarks outside of Kazakhstan, the cost of foreign certification and accreditation of industrial and innovation activity, delivery of goods and payment for transportation services by road, rail, air, sea, and some others.

The biggest demand of domestic exporters is the delivery of goods by rail. In terms of industries, food producers were traditionally active in 2022. Most of them are represented by companies producing oil, flour, bakery, flour confectionery, pasta, drinking water and drinks, fish processing companies and others.

According to the CEO of QazTrade Nuraly Bukeykhanov, this year the applications remaining from 2022 will be considered first. It is about 300 applications worth 7 billion tenge. A total of 8.85 billion tenge was allocated for reimbursement of costs to exporting companies in 2022.
