Operators refuse to sell subsidized diesel fuel

34.5 thousand applications for 426 thousand tons of diesel fuel have been accepted from farmers for the harvesting campaign. At the same time, the regions cannot find operators who are ready to sell subsidized diesel fuel, reports World of NAN with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Delivery operators are determined by the Commission from among representatives of Akimats, prosecutor's office and anti-corruption bodies, public organizations, National Chamber "Atameken", as well as industry associations.

In some regions of the country, operators for the delivery of diesel fuel are still not determined. For example, in Atyrau and Mangistau regions the supplier will be determined in August, as the shipment is scheduled for this month. In Ulytau region there are no applications for operators due to the high price of fuel and lubricants and the operator's inability to make a high markup.

This year the Ministry of Energy approved the selling price of diesel fuel at the level of 284 thousand tenge per ton from the refinery. Considering the delivery costs of operators, the average price for farmers is 269 tenge per liter, which is 9% below the market price.
