Scientists from the East Kazakhstan region have created an improved injector of liquid fertilizers. Foreign analogues were used as a basis, but the new design is much more efficient in operation and cheaper in production, World of NAN reports with reference to 24.kz.
The equipment was tested at the Oilseeds Experimental Farm. Farid Abitayev, general director of the farm, being an experienced farmer, is a participant of the project and a consultant of scientists. In his opinion, local developments will be at least 30% cheaper than foreign analogs.
"The cost will be lower, because here we apply certain elements and technologies, from welded products we switch to stamped products, which will be much cheaper", - said Farid Abitayev.
Engineers set themselves the task of increasing the strength of the elements. This will reduce the wear of injectors, inverters, as well as get rid of cracks and corrosion on the wheel housing. The scientists also want to increase the efficiency of the injectors and reduce fertilizer consumption. The injectors will be ready for the next sowing season.
