In the vicinity of Shymkent station of Turkestan region amid positive air temperatures on the fourth day of the ten-day period the resumption of winter wheat vegetation is observed. Development phase "3rd leaf", condition of plants is satisfactory.

Snow melted due to the increase in air temperature in the fields of the south and southeast, except (stations Kyrgyzsai 6 cm) Almaty region, which may affect the winter wheat overwintering in case of severe frosts. Soil freezing depth was within the range of 2 cm to 21 cm.
