Pelts processing launched in WKR

During a visit to Turkey last year, WKR Akim Gali Iskaliyev supported the proposal of Turkish entrepreneur Aydin Ibrahim to implement a project on processing of hides and wool, World of NAN reports with reference to the Akimat of the region.

Within a few months, the idle primary processing plant for hides, Posh Runo LLP, has been restored and exports for advanced processing have begun. Thirty jobs were restored.

At the meeting they discussed the next stage of the project - processing of sheep and goat wool, with the production of lanolin, processed wool and other products.

Turkish investor has expressed readiness to start production of finished leather and wool products in Uralsk in future.

Considering the fact that wool of cattle in the region is not processed, and in fact is thrown away, the Regional Akim charged First Deputy Akim Utegulov A.K. to ensure collection and purchase of wool from the entire region to provide the project with raw materials.

Recall that the issue of processing of cattle wool raised the aksakals of our southwestern districts during a meeting with the akim of the region.
