At what price will farmers get diesel fuel?

Agrarians in Kazakhstan will receive diesel fuel for the spring field work at a price 15% lower than retail, reports World of NAN with reference to the Ministry of Energy.

The Ministries of Energy and Agriculture approved the "Schedule of assigning regions to refineries for the supply of diesel fuel for spring field work in 2024.

In accordance with the schedule priority shipment and delivery of 340.2 thousand tons of diesel fuel is planned from February 1 to June 30 to producers of agricultural products in 17 of 20 regions of Kazakhstan.

The price of diesel fuel recommended by the Ministry of Energy directly for producers of agricultural products is 250 tenge/liter, which is 15% lower than the retail prices "at the pump" of gas stations and remains unchanged after harvesting operations in 2023.

The recommended price is unified for all 17 regions and includes transportation costs and margins of regional operators to supply fuel to farmers.
