Buyers are afraid to take sprouted grain

Chairman of the Board of Prodkorporatsiya Asylkhan Dzhuvashev spoke about forward financing next year and the problems of selling sprouted grain, World of NAN reports with reference to NCE.

Prodkorporatsiya will buy 4, 5 class wheat and ungraded grain. There is ungraded grain in the market, which in terms of gluten, grain-unit and other indicators corresponds to class 3, only has a low fall number, it will not be bought.

"But there is germinated and infected grain. And its poultry farmers, cattle breeders and our foreign partners are afraid to buy it. Now we are considering the possibility of analyzing for microtoxins. I consider the volume of 350 thousand tons to be quite a large volume.

In addition to financial support, we are now providing farmers with non-financial measures and are searching for buyers. We have turned to our traditional partners, such as Iran, Tajikistan, China, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. But they set very high requirements for unclassified grain," Dzhuvashev said.

Now Prodkorporatsiya is considering the issue of lending to farmers in 2024 who have received prolongation. Perhaps, farms that have paid at least half of their obligations will participate in the forward.

"According to the results of the total harvest and the report of the balance of grain for the state, a final decision on financing in 2024 will be made," concluded the chairman of the Prodkorporatsiya.
