The Ministry of Agriculture has prepared a project to eliminate "electronic field maps" and optimize the process of subsidizing crop production, World of NAN reports with reference to the ministry.
Earlier, subsidizing crop production required an "electronic field map" where farmers had to fill in crop rotation before applying for subsidies. Due to the large influx farmers were given a grace period until January 1, 2024.
However, the analysis of the situation showed that the "electronic map of fields" in this format has neither functional nor practical sense, but only complicates the subsidy procedures. Therefore, the Ministry proposes to simplify subsidization processes in crop production by excluding the "electronic map of fields" and retaining the land plot areas, which are pulled up automatically from the Automated Information System of the State Land Cadastre (AIS SLC). The purchase of preparations and seeds itself is confirmed and blocked by electronic invoices.
At the same time, it is proposed to group the types of crops (for example, cereals, legumes, etc.) and to give the applicant the right to choose crops independently, using the average norm for each crop. This approach will free farmers from digitizing the "field map" and making crop rotations.
It will be possible to return to the "field map" and crop rotation after completion of digitization of agricultural land plots by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, expansion of the crop recognition spectrum "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary" and introduction of traceability system in crop production.
