The government boasted of zero growth in food prices

Moreover, according to the report of the responsible services, the price of cabbage, buckwheat, eggs and sunflower oil continues to decrease. There is a slight seasonal increase for potatoes and carrots due to the arrival of the early harvest.

Vice-Minister of Agriculture Y. Taszhurekov reported on availability of vegetable stocks in the regions. As a whole the work on financing of autumn harvest continues. On the part of the Ministry of Agriculture on potatoes, onions and cabbage regions were instructed to bring contracts to the recommended volumes.

During the meeting, it was noted that the list of SIFP for forward contracts was expanded within the framework of the Standard Regulations. Introduced forward financing for the production of buckwheat groats, rice, sunflower oil, flour and sugar. Thus, the Akimats have the opportunity to implement forward financing of processing enterprises for the purchase of raw materials (rice-shallow, buckwheat, sunflower) autumn harvest. For this, as stressed by Yerbol Taszhurekov, the regions need to confirm the volume of demand for these goods.

"Zero rise in prices for social products last week is a positive result. Since the beginning of the year and by the end of May, the price growth index for SIFP was 4.2%, by the end of June it should not exceed 4.3%. All Akimats should take exhaustive measures to ensure it.
