Seeds produced at the farm are in high demand among domestic agrarians and are exported to 7 regions of the Russian Federation.
The President inquired about the prospects of expanding oilseed crops in other regions of the country. According to Farid Abitayev, director of the company, in recent years the area under oilseed crops has increased by 12-15% annually, and the demand in the market also remains high.
It should be noted that due to the availability of fodder base and competent selection work Farid Abitayev's dairy farm has become one of the leaders in the field of dairy cattle breeding.
To date, the dairy farm has about 3000 heads of cattle, mainly Holstein-Friesian breed. Daily milk production reaches about 40 tons. The milk is supplied to four domestic milk processing plants.
The head of state praised the success of the enterprise and urged to scale up its experience in other regions of the country.
The President was also shown a training room, equipped in partnership with the East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev, where employees receive on-the-job training in agro-management. Cooperation with the Swiss company Syngenta, one of the leaders in the production of plant protection products, and the American manufacturer of agricultural machinery John Deere is being established.
