The President was shown an innovative greenhouse

As part of his work visit to Almaty region, the head of state visited the greenhouse complex of Lst Agro LLP, World of NAN reports with reference to Akorda.

The total area of the greenhouse complex reaches 7 hectares, capacity - 3,650 tons of tomatoes per year. The amount of attracted investments is 5.2 billion tenge. The complex is supported by the state through the Damu Fund.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed that the enterprise has systems of drip irrigation, misting and carbon dioxide production. Management of climatic, irrigation and energy equipment in the greenhouse complex is fully automated and is carried out with the help of special software.

Also modern water treatment technologies have been implemented here.

Thanks to the application of the advanced Dutch tomato growing system, the company was able to achieve a multiple increase in yields and high quality of products, most of which are exported.

During the visit to the complex, the head of state familiarized himself with the range of products and noted the importance of launching such investment projects to create new jobs and ensure food security.
