Prodkorporatsiya (Food Corporation) will increase funding for forward purchasing

Starting from January 14, the Prodkorporatsiya will begin accepting applications for funding for farmers to carry out spring and summer field works under the forward purchase program, the World of NAN reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

This year 2022, the amount of pre-financing is planned to increase to 80 billion tenge, which is 2 times more than last year's level. For comparison, the amount of prepayment under this program allocated to agricultural producers in the spring period in 2020 was 24.4 billion tenge, in 2021 - about 40 billion tenge.

The list of purchased crops will be expanded to ten items. The list includes soft and hard wheat, barley, oats, sunflower, flax, rapeseed, soybean, buckwheat and corn.

To submit documents for funding, farmers should contact the regional offices of JSC "NC "Prodovolstvennaya kontraktnaya korporatsiya" (Food Contract Corporation) or apply online at the website fcc.kz.
