Prosecutor's office: Akimat delayed the issuance of subsidies

The Prosecutor's Office of Kostanai region identified delays in reviewing applications for subsidizing farmers in the activities of the Department of Agriculture and Land Relations of the regional Akimat, World of NAN reports with reference to the agency.

The main purpose of subsidizing to reimburse part of the costs incurred by the subject of agro-industrial complex is to increase the availability of goods, works and services within the framework of investment projects in priority areas.

The region allocated 3.3 billion tenge for subsidizing agro-industrial complex, while the applications of 865 entrepreneurs remained pending since May 2023, while the term of service is 14 working days.

According to the act of supervision introduced by the prosecutor's office of the region the violations were eliminated, 757 farmers of the region were paid subsidies in the amount of 3.3 billion tenge by Akimat of the region.

In order to prevent similar facts in the future, the Department took organizational and administrative measures for timely consideration of applications for state support.
