A dormant poultry farm will be revived in the Pavlodar region

Several investors have already shown interest in the enterprise, located in the rural area of Aksu. Among them are foreign ones, reports World of NAN referring to Pavlodarnews.

As deputy Akim of the region S. Batyrguzhinov told at a press conference at the regional communication service, the founders of the Kyzylzhar poultry farm are now negotiating with investors.

"This year we have to revive this enterprise, - said the speaker. - Chicken meat is included in the list of 19 socially important products, now it is in the risk zone. At present, we buy it outside our region."

Future investor can count on state support. This year, the Pavlodar region intends to finance 48 projects for the development of agriculture, including poultry production.

"We cannot finance the purchase of a poultry farm, but we can support the reconstruction and further launching in principle," said the deputy akim.

Recall that the Kyzylzhar poultry farm opened in 2014, but the following summer suspended its work for modernization. However, due to inflation targeting, the enterprise never resumed production.

Incidentally, another large poultry farm - Sherbakty-kus LLP - has reduced egg production by more than 60% due to a decrease in the number of poultry. This statistic was caused by an increase in the cost of feed, but Sherbakty district intends to improve the situation in the near future.
