A special work group arrived in Kostanai region to resolve issues with subsidy payments

A special group headed by the Vice-Minister of Agriculture, Baglan Bekbauov, has arrived in Kostanai region to promptly resolve the issue of subsidy payments to local farmers, World of NAN reports.

Earlier analysis of the situation showed low efficiency in terms of providing state support to agricultural producers in the region, which the Ministry has repeatedly pointed out to the Akimat and recommended to involve additional staff of the regional department of agriculture to speed up the process.

As informed in the Ministry of Agriculture, the workgroup held meetings with the Akimat of Kostanay region, the Department of Agriculture, as well as with representatives of the regional chamber "Atameken" and farmers.

During the meeting, the recommendations of farmers on improving subsidy mechanisms in EGISS were listened to.

"In addition, agreements were reached on attracting additional four specialists to the Department of Agriculture to speed up the process of reviewing the incoming applications for subsidies. This decision should have a positive impact on the process of realization of due payments", - noted the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
