A wealthy resident of Kazakhstan eats 3.5 times more meat and meat products - 35.9 kg per quarter, than a poor one - 10.3 kg per quarter, World of NAN reports with reference to lsm.kz.
The diet of a wealthy resident also includes fish and seafood: per quarter - 7 kg, per month - 2.3 kg, per day - 76.6 g. And for the poor: per quarter - 1.7 kg, per month - 500 g, and per day – 16.6 g. The difference is 4.1 times.
Consumption of milk and dairy products varied by 3.4 times. If a wealthy person ate on average 101.2 kg per quarter (per month - 33.7 kg, per day - 1.1 kg), then the poor - 29.4 kg (per month - 9.8 kg, per day - 326 ,6 g).
There is also a significant difference in fruits - 3.7 times: a wealthy Kazakhstani ate 32.7 kg in three months (10.9 kg per month, 363.3 g per day), and a poor one - 8.8 kg per quarter (per month – 2.9 kg, per day – 96.6 g).
As for vegetables, the gap is 2.7 times. Thus, poor Kazakhstanis eat 11.1 kg of vegetables per quarter (not counting potatoes) (3.7 kg per month, 123.3 g per day). And the rich: per quarter – 30.2 kg, per month – 10.6 kg, per day – 353.3 g.
