EU diplomatic chief Josep Borrell has said Russia is offering cheap grain to developing countries to make them dependent, World of NAN reports citing Reuters.
"While the world is dealing with supply disruptions and price increases, Russia is now reaching out to vulnerable countries with bilateral offers of grain at reduced prices," the European policymaker said.
At the same time, the head of Eurodiplomacy noted that the EU had made every effort to ensure that the sanctions did not affect the food security of third countries. According to him, "there are no sanctions against Russian exports of food products and fertilizers to third countries".
