Russia will reduce the export duty on wheat

The duty on wheat exports from Russia from December 27 to January 10 inclusive will be reduced to 3,859 rubles (19 thousand tenge) per ton, reports World of NAN with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

Also, the duty on barley exports will remain at zero, while the duty on corn exports will increase to 1148 rubles (5751 tenge) per ton.

Until December 26, inclusive, the duty is set at 4,048 rubles (more than 20,000 tenge) per ton, while the duty on barley export is zero, while the duty on corn export - 794 rubles (3,977 tenge) per ton.

Recall that Russia has a flexible export duty on grain crops, which operates within the mechanism of grain dampener. In addition, the neighboring country is a competitor in the export markets of Kazakhstan.
