The Ministry of Agriculture has determined the limits for the export of livestock

The Ministry of Agriculture has posted an order on the Open NPA portal concerning the export of farm animals, World of NAN reports.

Kazakhstan has extended export quotas for live cattle. The restriction applies to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and will be in effect for six months.

Thus, the total quota for bulls older than 12 months will be 85 thousand heads, for rams older than six months - 120 thousand heads. Feedlots are allowed to export 55 thousand bulls, and producers - 30 thousand. For rams, the quotas are divided equally.

The limit for one feedlot for bulls is 4,000 heads, and for one producer no more than 500 heads. The limit for rams per one fattening site is 1000 heads, and no more than 500 heads per producer.

The distribution of quotas will be automatic when issuing licenses for the export of a particular category of animals.
