Today agrarians have no funds

At a meeting of the Sectoral Council on Agribusiness of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kostanai region, the issue of financial assistance to farmers was discussed, reports World of NAN with reference to NCE.

Thus, a representative of the Association of Agricultural Producers of Kostanai region Svetlana Mikhailenko suggested extending the term of loans extension for 5-7 years.

"Today agrarians do not have funds, so we propose in the repayment schedule to distribute this money for a longer period. And if we do not start to solve it now, we will return to it in the fall. Also under the "Agribusiness" program, we paid the full rate of 22% for the whole of 2023. This is a huge burden on enterprises. And the repayment schedule is organized in such a way - first the interest is paid, and only then the principal amount. We suggest revising the mechanism," added Svetlana Mikhailenko.

According to Oleg Rabchenyuk, director of Kostanai branch of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, the issue of long prolongation will be worked out.
