How many agricultural projects were implemented in Kostanay region?

Ten projects for 58,5 billion tenge were realized in Kostanay region in 2021, most of them in the agroindustrial complex sector, reports the World of NAN referring to LS.

According to the regional akimat, two meat production facilities were launched in the region in 2021. In particular, a 7.1 billion tenge meat-processing plant with a capacity of 20,000 tonnes was completed and put into operation. The start-up of another meat enterprise for slaughtering cattle and horses is estimated at 900 million tenge. Its processing capacity is 64 heads per shift, and production is 7.7 thousand tons of meat per year and 3 thousand tons of meat cuts.

Last year, a grain processing complex was completed in the region, which includes a grain elevator and a feed mill. Its cost is 1.9 billion tenge. Capacity - 20 thousand tons of grain storage, and 15 tons of mixed fodder per hour.

A plant for disposal of decommissioned agricultural machinery was launched at a cost of KZT5.1 billion. Capacity - 5.5 thousand units per year. At the same time, a localization center has been created in the region for the production of agricultural machinery for 12.6 billion tenge. Its capacity is 1 thousand combines, 3 thousand tractors, 1 thousand seeders and 500 balers. Also three production facilities with total cost of 4,2 billion tenge were launched. These projects were implemented jointly with investors from Russia and South Korea.

Note that during the discussion of the recycling fee farmers questioned the capacity of the localization center for the production of agricultural machinery.
