Farmers ask for urgent payment of subsidies

Karaganda farmers are urging the government to pay them subsidies to compensate for the damage they suffered this year due to weather conditions, World of NAN reports with reference to the NCE.

The situation on the fields in Karaganda region is similar to other regions. Abnormal heat, hail and rain have done their job. But what is more surprising is that no one from the region's leadership has ever gathered agrarians to discuss the force majeure situation or traveled to the sowing fields.

Officials only advise farmers who have suffered losses to write a written application to the department. In addition, they should provide an act from local executive bodies on crop failure and a certificate from hydrometeorologists.

According to farmers, there are farms, where due to weather conditions, the harvest was lost almost 100%.

Agrarians will be able to calculate all the losses only after harvesting, but weather conditions do not allow them to do it.
