The largest international agricultural exhibition

Today, in the capital of Kazakhstan, the largest international agricultural exhibition "KazAgro/KazFarm-2021" was launched in the exhibition center "Expo". Farmers from all over the country flocked to the event to search for new solutions in the development of the agricultural industry, World of NAN reports.

It was the first time the exhibition had such a scale, its expositions were spread over an area of 20,000 square meters. The event is attended by over 120 companies from 20 countries. The event is supported by the Kazakh government and the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

"In today's pandemic conditions all over the world, the role of agriculture in ensuring food security has increased. Therefore, the issue of agro-industrial complex development is one of the priorities of state policy. Technical and technological modernization, application of modern technologies and innovations, knowledge from representatives of the world leaders in agricultural production and processing is very important for maintaining the development of the agro-industrial complex. I am sure that this exhibition will provide such an opportunity to its participants", stated Aidarbek Saparov, Vice-Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan in his welcome speech.

A large-scale exhibition area has allowed international giants to present many new models of agricultural machinery, equipment, the latest breeding technologies, etc. Such a presentation gives the opportunity for domestic farmers to compare the equipment of world leaders in agriculture and choose the most suitable for them. But that is not all, in addition to technological solutions at the show farmers can find new insights in crop and livestock production. The latter the organizers paid special attention to this year.

"Today the state is focused on increasing the production of livestock products. That's why we paid special attention to this area and prepared a lot of events for domestic cattle breeders. For example, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany has organized collective participation of more than 20 leading manufacturers in cattle breeding, agricultural machinery and crop production in the "Made in Germany" pavilion. During the exhibition, the farmers will also have the opportunity to visit the leading farms of Akmola region as part of a "meat tour," said the organizer of the exhibition, Sholpan Kozhabayeva.

The exhibition will be of interest not only to livestock farmers, various seminars with international experts will cover all sectors. In addition, during the exhibition agrarians will not only get knowledge but also opportunities to establish business contacts with domestic and foreign agricultural market participants.

"I try to attend such events every year. I find such exhibitions useful, because they provide access to new technologies and knowledge. In general, if a person wants to grow, he must constantly learn and acquire new information. The exhibition allows us to communicate with colleagues and potential customers. For example, today I discussed export cooperation with a representative of an international Islamic organization," said Bakytzhan Abdrasilov, head of MPS International.

The event program is rich and will be of interest to any visitor. For example, contests for the best breed of pedigree cattle will be held during the exhibition and a large-scale auction of elite farm animals will be held on the last day. Those who couldn't make it to the exhibition today, will be able to visit it on October 21 and 22.
