Top 30 Kazakh producers of poultry and eggs in 2022

World of NAN continues to publish rankings of the largest companies in the agricultural sector. Today we want to present you a separate top poultry and egg producers according to tax deductions, which correlate well with the turnover of the company.

 Top 30 companies in 2022 paid a total of 17.9 billion tenge in taxes, which is 15.2% more than in 2021. More than 9.6 billion tenge in taxes came from the top five: Makinskaya poultry farm, Ust-Kamenogorskaya poultry farm, Alel Agro, Alatau-Kus and Otan Green Food;

 The top 30 included 9 companies, whose main activities are related only to the production of eggs. These companies paid a total of 2.7 billion tenge in taxes;

 Prima-Kus LLP showed the strongest growth in 2022, tax payments of which grew more than 8 times, from 74 to 612 million tenge. This LLP started construction of a closed cycle poultry complex in 2021 and completed the first phase worth 33.5 billion tenge in late 2022;

 Nauryz Agro Ltd LLP also showed a big increase in tax payments. The company increased its tax payments by 169% most probably after commissioning of "Almaty breeding poultry farm" with value of 24 billion tenge and project capacity of 80 million eggs per year;

 LLP "Shymkent Kus" and LLP "Ordabasy Kus" were the worst in 2022, tax deductions of which decreased by 44% and 37% respectively.

This rating was compiled by the editors of World of NAN on the basis of tax accruals for 2022 in accordance with the data from adata.kz. The rating included companies selected on the basis of the main General Classifier of Economic Activities (OKED). Thus, companies whose main activities are related, for example, to retail trade, rather than to food production or agriculture, were not included in this ranking.
