Top 30 agricultural companies and food producers of Kazakhstan

This ranking is compiled by our editorial board on the basis of tax charges for 2022 according to adata.kz. The companies were selected in accordance with the main GCEA (general classifier of economic activities). That is, the ranking did not include companies whose official additional activities are related to food production or agriculture, but whose main activities are related to retail trade, for example, reports World of NAN.

◾ As of last year's results, the top 5 includes two sugar companies which have risen significantly in the 2022 rankings;

◾There were also two companies producing refined oils and fats in the top 5;

◾Only two of the 30 companies represented are engaged in growing grains, while the rest are food producers;

◾In the top 30, the companies that produce meat and poultry meat products are the most numerous. There are five such companies in the ranking.

Thus, the top ten included:

1. Eurasian Foods Corporation JSC (Almaty);

2. Lotte Rakhat JSC (Almaty);

3. Taraz Sugar Factory LLP (Zhambyl Region);

4. EFCO Almaty LLP (Almaty);

5. Koksu Sugar Plant LLP (Jetisu Region);

6. Eurasian Foods JSC (Karaganda Region);

7. Karat LLP (WKO);

8. Mareven Food Tien-Shan LLP (Almaty Region);

9. Makinskaya poultry farm LLP (Akmola oblast);

10. Rakhat-Shymkent LLP (Shymkent city).
