One trillion tenge will be allocated for loans for the development of rural business

Director of the Department of Financial Instruments and Microcredit of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Turar Mukhamedzhanov, told the Central Communications Service about measures to support rural business, World of NAN reports.

This year, 100 billion tenge has been allocated for the program "Auyl Amanaty". Overall, more than 4,600 applications have been approved in the republic and loans worth 25 billion tenge have been issued. This is the first time the program is being implemented on a republican scale. But there is such a problem as incorrect documents of citizens applying for loans.

"Loans are issued mainly in rural communities. Therefore, their collateral property is houses, lands in the village. In most cases, the documents for houses in villages are incorrect. For this reason, the loan approval periods are also extended. This is one of the reasons why such loans are issued less", - explained T. Mukhamedzhanov.

According to him, 100 billion tenge allocated for the program "Auyl Amanaty", this year is for the issue of about 17 thousand microcredits. And up to 1 trillion tenge is planned to be allocated for this program until 2029.

"Next year we plan to allocate another 100 billion tenge. The most important requirement is to be a resident of a rural settlement. And the proposed business project must be implemented in the same rural area. The unemployed, as well as self-employed or self-employed or engaged in personal subsidiary farming and entrepreneurs starting their business can participate in this program", - added T. Mukhamedzhanov.
