The meat cattle breeding industry in East Kazakhstan in recent years has become a business platform for active entrepreneurial initiative of rural residents. With the support of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs in the region they started to produce canned meat from local raw materials, reports World of NAN referring to Rudnyi Altai.
The peculiarity is that instead of tin cans, the prepared meat with spices is rolled up in glass jars by a local entrepreneur. Such goods are in demand not only by tourists, hunters, fishermen, and cattlemen on distant pastures, but also by all those who find it convenient not to slaughter their cattle for meat in summer, but to buy a ready-made product.
The main issue related to storage is already solved in the process of canning. Now in Katon-Karagai district there are entrepreneurs who have taken up such a necessary business in order to provide the domestic market with meat products.
In particular, at the fair of Katon-Karagai residents, Aigul Tulemisova, entrepreneur from Ushbulak village, offers such produce. The family farm is engaged in beekeeping, breeding cattle breeds, horses, in the summertime produces kumys, honey. All this is in demand among tourists and guests who come every summer to the neighboring villages to the pantotherapy facilities.
"We constantly participate in holding fairs in the district, the regional center," says Aigul Tulemisova. - Our honey and fresh meat are appreciated for being natural and tasty, we have beautiful nature, conditions for farming, but all this requires hard work all year round. Therefore, we are looking for different ways that our work brought not only moral satisfaction, but also somehow could recover costs.
The farm pays attention to the design of goods, packaging and weighing of honey, filling kumys in different containers, convenient for sale, delivery, consumption. Now the same applies to meat stew, a new product that the Ushbulak farm is working on.
