To date, Kazakhstan has harvested 16.6 million hectares of grain crops, which is 97% of the planned area. The average yield is 9.6 c/ha and 15.9 million tons of grain have been harvested, World of NAN reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture.
It should be reminded that the following purchase prices are set within the framework of forward purchase: hard wheat of the 3rd class - 130,000 tenge including VAT; wheat of the 3rd class hi-pro (gluten from 27%) - 130,000 tenge including VAT; wheat of the 3rd class (gluten from 23%) - 120,000 tenge including VAT; wheat of the 4th class -105,000 tenge including VAT; barley of the 2nd class - 65,000 tenge including VAT.
Under the forward purchase and commodity credit, farmers were given the opportunity to fulfill their obligations in cash without paying a penalty or by replacing class 3 wheat with class 4 at a coefficient of 1.05 or 5%. Farmers who are unable to fulfill their obligations will be allowed to extend the term of contract fulfillment for one year with reimbursement of bank interest at the rate of only 3%.
Additional information on the fulfillment of forward purchase contracts can be obtained from the regional offices of the Prodkorporatsiya. Purchase prices for sunflower, flax seeds, buckwheat and rapeseed will be known later.
