The technical fleet of combines of domestic farmers is obsolete by 70%. More than 28 thousand of 39 thousand combines in the country are worn out. Agrarians sound the alarm and ask the state to allocate additional funds for preferential leasing of agricultural machinery, World of NAN reports with reference to inform.kz.
Kazakhstan has allocated 100 billion tenge for preferential lending of cars, 30 billion tenge for preferential lending of buses, but for preferential lending of agricultural machinery the figures have been cut by many times - only 15 billion tenge. At the same time, farmers have to make an initial payment of 15%. Is this fair to those who ensure the country's food security?
"In agriculture there is a constant rise in prices for related goods, whatever the season - prices are twice as high for spare parts, services. Everything is growing except the price of grain. At such a price for wheat, sunflower, barley it is almost impossible to buy something in cash. Preferential leasing is necessary. But with adequate government investments," farmer Zhalgasbek Kanapin commented on the situation.
Judging by the area under cultivation and the number of farmers, the amount is really ridiculous. The allocated money ran out in a couple of seconds. The lion's share of farmers simply did not have time to draw up documents. And without the help of the state, many of them will simply not be able to renew the agricultural park.
