Uzbekistan will provide a preferential tariff for transportation of Kazakh flour

A foreign trade company UzKazTrade LLC was created between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to increase mutual trade turnover. It is also designed to help businesses reach markets in third countries, World of NAN reported.

As the General Director of JSC "QazTrade" Nuraly Bukeikhanov noted, the creation of a joint company will allow Kazakh enterprises to increase the supply of goods to the markets of the two countries, will contribute to the development of proposals to remove restrictions and barriers to mutual trade.

"At the initial stage, it is planned to purchase fruit and vegetable products from Uzbekistan to meet the needs of our domestic market. In addition, we will help sell Kazakh flour products in Uzbekistan with the possibility of further export to Afghanistan. We have agreed with the Uzbek side to provide preferential rates for logistics costs", - said the head of the Center for Trade Policy Development.

In addition, as noted in the press service of the Ministry of Trade, the implementation of the project will enhance the effectiveness of government measures to reduce the dependence of the Kazakh market from imports from third countries.

Among other things, the foreign trade company will focus on market research and competitive analysis of the products of major enterprises of the two countries, the development of proposals for the placement of orders for the production of finished products, optimization and coordination of mutual trade processes.

The company will assist businesses in certification and export promotion of products, as well as delivery of technological equipment, spare parts, components, raw materials produced in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to replace imports from third countries, search for new buyers and consumers of products.

The founders of export-import enterprise were "Center for Development of Trade Policy "QazTrade" JSC and "UzTrade" JSC.
