Uzbek investor intends to create a cotton cluster in Turkestan

Yermek Kenzhekhanuly, Deputy Akim of Turkestan province, met with Eldor Osmanov, president of the Uzbek company Gurlan Global Teks. At the meeting, the investor talked about his intention to create a cotton cluster in the south, World of NAN reports.

As it was informed in the press service of the regional Akim, the visitor was presented the investment potential of the region, many of whose residents work in the cotton industry.

The Deputy Akim of the region noted that cotton cultivation in the Maktaral region is developed at a high level. He also shared his plans for upcoming projects to develop the cotton cluster.

Y. Kenzhekhanuly expressed interest in establishing bilateral business relations on cotton cluster with Uzbek company "Gurlan Global Teks".

Recently, a delegation headed by Deputy Head of Investment and Export Department Nurgul Abdrazakova visited Uzbekistan and held talks with a number of companies on the cotton cluster.
