Akmola region summed up the results of the development of the agricultural sector

This year the agricultural sector of the region has seen positive results. Yermek Marzhikpayev, Akim of Akmola region, congratulated agrarians with the results of the year, World of NAN reports referring to the press service of the Akimat.

"Thanks to the selfless work of each of you and measures of state support, the volume of gross output for the first time will exceed 1 trillion tenge, and this is one of the best indicators in the country, "- said the head of the region.

The result is achieved by increasing the production of crop production. Much work has been done to put into circulation of unused agricultural land. Now sown area has been increased to 5,2 million hectares, of which spring crops amounted to 4,6 million hectares.

The region is a leader in wheat exports. All agricultural producers harvested a total of 5.5 million hectares, with an average yield of 11.7 centners per hectare, which is 30% higher than last year. The main share, 95% of the harvest was wheat 1 and 2 varieties.

An important role is played by the technical equipment of enterprises. Only this year it was purchased about 2 thousand modern tractors and combines.

Since the beginning of the year more than 155 thousand tons of meat in live weight, 350 thousand tons of milk, more than 620 million eggs have been produced in the region. The livestock has been increased. The number of dairy-commodity farms in the region annually grows and the capacity of the existing ones expands. More than a hundred meat and ten dairy farms will be launched in 2022.

The priority is self-sufficiency in socially important commodities. Production of Akmola commodity producers exceeds the need of the population of the region 4 times for eggs, 7.5 times for poultry, 36 times for flour.

Also the region completely satisfies the demand with meat products. As part of import substitution, production of poultry meat and vegetable oil is being developed. One of such projects is "Ak-Dala Agro" poultry farm in Arshalyn region with capacity up to 10 thousand tons, works on putting into operation of the third stage of Makinsky poultry farm and butter plant in Bulandinsky region with capacity up to 600 tons per day are being completed.

In total within the framework of the food belt of the country to the markets of the capital delivered more than 24 thousand tons of meat products, over 200 million eggs, 100 thousand tons of dairy products. Akmola commodity producers provide one third of the capital's residents with meat and milk.
