Necessary infrastructure will be provided for distant pastures in Karaganda Region. The pilot project will be implemented in Bukhar-Zhyrau and Osakarov districts. It includes paddocks, watering places, power lines and more, World of NAN reports.
Daryn Bulkayir, head of the Karaganda Region Land Relations Department, elaborated on the project.
"In Bukhar-Zhyrau district the pilot project will be implemented in Rostov, Belagash, Karazhar, Samarkand rural districts and in rural district Baymyrza. In Osakarov district, rural districts of Ozerny, Saryozek and Karagaily will participate. The project includes installation of watering facilities: wells, springs, as well as cattle-runs, watering places, barns, pens for animals", - said Daryn Bulkayir.
In addition, according to the regional Akimat, power lines will be built. Premises for seasonal accommodation of workers are provided.
The head of the department noted that the number of cattle in the region is increasing every year. Therefore, the issue of pasture provision has become urgent.
