Export of organic products in Kazakhstan has tripled

In monetary terms, annual exports of organic products from Kazakhstan in the past 2021 year has tripled, reports World of NAN, citing a post on Facebook Union of Organic Producers of Kazakhstan.

In a message of the Union noted that the geography of exports has expanded - for the first time there were supplies to Ukraine and China. The main destination remains Germany, Sweden, Britain, as well as Belgium, the Czech Republic and Lithuania.

A total of 29,219 tons of organic wheat was exported in 2021 for the amount of 9,992 thousand dollars and 2,705 thousand euros. Also exported are 12,070 tons of organic flax seed to the value of 10,586 thousand euros; 9,610 tons of soybeans to the value of 9,547 thousand dollars; sunflower seed - 921.5 tons to the value of 5,621 thousand dollars; millet - 328 tons to the value of 85.3 thousand euros. In addition, there are insignificant export volumes of sunflower oil, vodka, honey (transitional), collection of wild crops.

In total, exports in 2021 amounted to - 20,101 thousand dollars and 13,376 thousand euros. In 2020, exports were 1,457 thousand dollars and 9,225.5 thousand euros.
