Mangistau is considering introducing sprinkling to combat drought

A solution is being sought in Mangistau Region, where a drought has severely affected livestock production. The region intends to use artificial sprinkling as a solution, World of NAN reports, citing the press service of the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

If the new technology successfully passes the approbation, devices will be installed in Mangistau region, which will help cover the entire region by sprinkling and saving livestock from mortality. Central Asian Center of Climate Change Technologies is ready to introduce the innovative development. On the platform of the Mangistau Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs, businessmen reviewed and discussed the proposed system.

According to Altai Ainabek, who is implementing the Pro International Center of Climate Change Technologies, a global project tested in several countries, several companies around the world are working on the basis of this technology. The project can be used for civil purposes. The technology poses no danger to the environment, people, animals. This is confirmed by the positive conclusion of the European laboratory De Nayer - Clear Sky Manager technology.

"With the help of dispersion of negative ions into the atmosphere, there is a concentration of moisture in the atmosphere at different levels and through the transfer of evaporated moisture from the Caspian Sea to the deep regions of Mangistau, clouds are formed and deposited where it is necessary. Our "Clear Sky Manager 5" and "Clear Sky Manager 7" technologies are patented in Russia, the USA, Japan and the European Union. Recognized world-class doctors, meteorologists, aerologists and other specialists in the field of climate control work with us," Altai Aynabek shared details.

A representative of the company noted that local water experts will conduct a walk-around of the areas and designate locations for the installation of the five instruments.

"Five devices can cover the entire Mangistau region. One device works within a radius of 200 km. The efficiency of work for 100,000 square meters. Annual precipitation will increase by at least 30 percent. We can show the result within a month," explained the company representative. According to Altay Ainabek, the company is ready to show the first result of the technology at its own expense as a pilot project.

"The annual service cost of our technology is 5 million euros, but we will work within 1.3-2 million euros for detonation work, the remaining 3-3.8 million euros will be our joint investment in the demonstration project, and we will get the money on schedule after we show the result," - said the company representative.

Participants of the meeting, who approved the project, believe that the climate technology should be tested in the region. An appropriate proposal will be made to the akimat of the region, the Ministries of Agriculture and Environment.

"Local entrepreneurs, in turn, are ready to reimburse some costs associated with the introduction of technology, to perform a number of works, such as transportation, installation of structures", - said the chairman of the regional chamber of entrepreneurs Yedil Dzhanburshin.
