Poultry farm and slaughterhouse to be built in Mangistau region

Two investment projects in the agro-industrial sector are expected to be implemented in Mangistau region, World of NAN reports referring to LS.

According to the information of the city administration, a project for construction of a poultry farm in Aktau worth 5.2 billion tenge was submitted to the regional coordinating council for accelerated industrial development. Of them 2,6 billion tenge - own funds of the investor, 2,6 billion tenge - borrowed. The production is planned to start in the first half of 2023. Expected capacity is 163 mln tenge a year. Permanent jobs will be provided for 110 people.

Another entrepreneur from Zhanaozen plans to build a shop for slaughtering and meat processing for KZT26.4 mln of his own funds. The facility is expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2023. The main purpose of the project is to process and pack meat: horse meat, beef, lamb and create a complex for slaughtering cattle with subsequent cutting of carcasses. The capacity of the slaughterhouse will be 3,000 kg per shift.
