A grain terminal will be launched in the port of Kuryk this year

The degree of readiness of the grain terminal in the port of Kuryk is 80%, it was reported to the Akim of Mangistau region Nurlan Nogayev, World of NAN reports referring to the regional Akimat.

The launch of the terminal with a capacity of 1 million tons per year with simultaneous storage of 25,000 tons of grain crops is planned this year - after the construction of power grids and railroad.

"Grain terminal is very necessary for the region, in this regard, it is necessary to ensure that there are no obstacles in the course of the project. If there are any problems, responsible specialists should take prompt measures within the framework of existing legislation", - said Nurlan Nogayev.

The launch of the terminal will increase the competitiveness of the transport route, increase cargo traffic, increase export potential and improve the process of freight transportation through the port of Kuryk.
