In Russia, wheat yields have fallen by five centners

The neighbouring country has yielded 68.7 million tonnes of cereals and legumes, including 57.1 million tonnes of wheat, 128,400 tonnes of durum wheat, 7.7 million tonnes of barley and 470,600 tonnes of rye, World of NAN reports.

The average yield of cereals and legumes is 5.2 c/ha lower than last year. The indicator for wheat - 35.1 c/ha (down by 5.4 c/ha year-on-year).

Due to frosts that began in early May 2024, a number of crops died in Russia. The emergency regime of the federal level was introduced in 10 regions.

In Kazakhstan, this year they predict a high harvest. However, heavy rains in the grain-growing regions prevent the cultivation of fields. It is too early to say what the harvest will be like, as weather conditions may make adjustments.
