The prosecutors of the North Kazakhstan region during the analysis revealed serious violations in the field of veterinary medicine, World of NAN reports with reference to the agency.

Veterinary services contrary to the requirements of the Law "On Veterinary" violated the order of issuing veterinary documents and vaccination of animals, did not fully perform diagnostic studies of cattle. The facts of forging veterinary documents (veterinary certificates for meat products and vaccination certificates) were also established, and 4 pre-trial investigations under Article 385 of the Criminal Code were initiated.

Akimats of districts did not ensure proper maintenance of cattle burial grounds in violation of the requirements of veterinary rules. At the same time, the practice of slaughtering animals in private farmsteads rather than in special points continues.

According to the act of the supervisory body, 24 officials, including the head of the Veterinary Department were brought to disciplinary responsibility, a comprehensive plan to eliminate violations and improve the situation in this area was developed.
