26 agricultural projects to be launched in East Kazakhstan

In East Kazakhstan 26 projects in agro-industrial complex are planned to be launched by the end of the year, reports World of NAN referring to LS.

According to the regional akimat, a total of 92 projects are planned to be implemented in the region between 2021 and 2025. Total investment volume will be 420.2 billion tenge. Thus, by the end of this year in the field of agriculture 26 facilities worth 15.1 billion tenge are planned to be launched. For example, there are plans to expand production of broiler poultry farm up to 55 thousand tons of meat a year. They will invest 15 billion tenge in the project. Another investor intends to set up egg production worth 800 mln tenge with capacity of 29 mln eggs a year. 

There will also be launched a project on meat products processing for 1 billion tenge. Capacity will be 5.2 thousand tons of sausage products, canned food. By the end of 2021 there are plans to open three fattening sites with total cost of 810 mln tenge.  Expansion of dairy farm up to 600 heads of cattle for 2,7 billion tenge, launching of dairy plant for 50 million tenge are expected. A large bakery production for 32 mln tenge will appear in the region. Also in the region there are plans to launch an elevator for storing oil-bearing crops for 600 million tenge. Its capacity will be 45 thousand tons a year.  

However the region will not stop there, in five years the investors will invest more than 349 billion tenge in top 10 projects.
