Fodder and fertilizer production will increase in Zhambyl region

Fifteen investment projects are planned to be implemented in the region in 2022. Investors are attracted by agriculture, processing industry, renewable sources, tourism and fisheries, World of NAN reports referring to the regional Akimat.

According to the press-service, volume of investments into a fixed capital for January-March, 2022 made 63,1 billion tenge that is 13% more than for the same period of last year. This year we plan to implement 15 projects worth 100.5 billion tenge and create 1011 new jobs. Among them are the construction of a vegetable storage facility, the production of ammophos at the mineral fertilizer plant, the introduction of a new plant for the production of mixed fodder.

"In every rural district, agricultural projects must be implemented. Our goal is to develop the agro-industrial complex and create new jobs," said regional Akim Nurzhan Nurzhigitov at a meeting on attracting investments.

In the course of the event issues relating to the creation of an agricultural service in JSC "NC" SPK "Taraz", a service center with a showroom of agricultural machinery in Taraz, service and procurement centers were discussed.

During the meeting the results of analysis of work with offers received from potential investors were presented.

"As Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized, we are interested in preserving favorable investment climate. We need to help everyone who wants to work and make investments. The process of monitoring of implementation of investment projects should be under personal control of heads of departments and district Akims," said the regional Akim.

Responsible departments, SPK "Taraz" were given specific instructions.
